Eclipse
Darkness clouds
the somber girl as
she locks her knees
to her collarbone and
cries.
Her solid shape and
opaline skin attract
an atmosphere. What
heavenly bodies live
inside such
sad souls? She—
a celestial sphere
diffusing a gas
that pulls stars
towards her.
And with time
a glowing light
miraculous in mass
gravitates to her
scattered moon dust and
finds her.
Embraces her
breaking planet until
their perimeters align
in radial iridescence
and the dark becomes
an afterthought—
cradling her
and unlocking
her knees.
